Transform any manual door opener into an automatic door opener
Find the configuration that works best for your entrance. While various off-the-shelf solutions may seem to provide the access and ADA-compliance you are looking for, these products may not be reliable long-term and can create issues down the line. Using a trusted door specialist with the expertise to help you find the right solution and the AADM-certified installation and service team to back that up and help keep your doors safely and properly functioning is the recommended way to go.
Activation methods such as mats, push plates, motion sensors, touchless sensors, radio controls, and card readers offer ultimate flexibility for entering and exiting your space. Our full and low energy automatic door openers are also ADA compliant. Whether you're looking for a certain finish, activation, or retrofit installation, our experts will help you find the perfect automatic swinging door opener that meets your specifications.

Swinging Automatic Door Opener FAQs
For exterior doors, the automatic door opener is placed inside the door to protect it from the elements. For interior doors, though, it can be placed on either the push or pull side of the door depending on your needs.
The delay time after opening is user-adjustable and varies depending on the standard being applied and the type of operator. Typically for a swinging “Low Energy” application (push to operate), it is 5 seconds and 1.5 to 2.5 seconds for fully automatic swing doors with appropriate safety systems in place. Controls allow adjustment up to 50 seconds.
The smallest single leaf must yield a 32" door opening to comply with standard building code. Under most building codes, the maximum leaf size for a swinging door is 48".
