We’re proud to have joined in the celebration of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis in the opening of their fifth ReStore location on Indianapolis’ southwest side by donating automatic doors to provide customers with a touchless retail experience.
"As we open our fifth ReStore in the Indianapolis area during a time when communities are hyper-aware of health and safety concerns, it’s critical that we continue to provide our customers and employees with a safe, healthy, and secure retail environment,” said Jim Morris, president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. “Our collaboration with STANLEY Security and STANLEY Access Technologies is part of our commitment to creating a safe and accessible experience for our guests.”
“Habitat for Humanity helps make homeownership more accessible to all, aligning with our purpose at STANLEY Access Technologies: To Make The World Accessible for Everyone,” said Jeff Meaux, director of Service Sales at STANLEY Access Technologies. “STANLEY Access Technologies provides touchless, automatic doors as well as security solutions for organizations across a number of industries, so this was a perfect fit.”
The Greater Indy Habitat offers people in need the opportunity to purchase and own quality, affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations that accept donations and sell home improvement items to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
“For nearly 20 years, STANLEY Security has been supporting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis as a part of our STANLEY Gives Back program,” said STANLEY Security Vice President of Global Security Monitoring, Joe Pereira, who serves as a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. “Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization nationwide and for us here locally, it provides our employees an opportunity to volunteer and make a difference across the Indianapolis community.”
