Commonly asked questions

WHAT IS THE U-FACTOR AND SHGC FOR THE DURAGLIDE 2000?
Asked by Frank G. Relf Architect, P.C. on 02/11/2019
1 ANSWERS
+ Answer this question
U-Factor and SHGC are tied to several variables including glass properties, aluminum to glass ratio, and glass shape (edge vs center). Since our product is custom sized and custom configuration, and since there are hundreds of possible glazing options, so the U-Factor and SHGC must be calculated on a case by case basis. Please reach out to your local sales rep if you would like to discuss your project in detail. Thank you.

Where do I access the referenced threshold details? I'm looking to install an interior version of the Dura-Glide 2000 AG for a Medical Clinic.

The thresholds for a Dura-Glide 2000 “All Glass” are the same as they are for a Dura-Glide 2000, which you can download the 1.10 or 1.11 drawings available under the DRAWINGS tab above. We have also sent you an email with Threshold drawings.

Is the Clear Door Opening equal to ½ of the Package Size?
Asked by Anonymous on 12/18/2018
1 ANSWERS
+ Answer this question
No. Due to frames, overlap, and pinch concerns, clear door opening is decidedly less than ½ of the package width.
